What Is CD Replication or DVD Replication?
CD or DVD Replication (also known as 'pressing') essentially "clones" your original master. A Glass Master is created from your original master. From the Glass Master a metal stamper is made. From the metal stamper disc's are made (moulded plastic discs) . Once this has been completed, the CD or DVD replication process is extremely fast without any loss in quality from the first to the ten thousandth disc. This type of copying is more suited to larger runs of 500 and above. The on disc printing is silk screen up to 5 colours.
Any format can be reproduced through CD replication or DVD replication, whether it be data or audio. A number of packaging options are available including:
• Ultra slim/Slimline/Standard jewel/DVD cases.
• 2 page up to 24 (or more if required) pages in a booklet + inlay. All offset printed.
• Single and double cardboard wallets. All offset printed.
